About MYB News — Who We Are

MYB News is a Jewish business news publication. It is owned by Jews, run by Jews, and written for Orthodox Jewish business owners in Lakewood, New Jersey, Brooklyn and Monsey, New York, and Cleveland, Ohio. It was founded in September 2026 and publishes at mybnews.com and on WhatsApp. It covers finance and the money questions that reach a Jewish family and a family business: markets and interest rates, mortgage rates, small business taxes, insurance, cars, credit cards and points, solar, retail costs and commercial property. It is independently owned and free to read.

How we report

Every article on this site is written by MYB News. We do not republish anybody else's work and we do not send our readers off to another site to finish a story we started.

The method is the same each time. We only write a story when at least three independent outlets have reported it, so we are never carrying one newsroom's work on our own. We take the facts out of those reports and set the original wording aside before a word is written, which means the article is put together here rather than rearranged from somebody else's. We name the outlets we drew figures from inside the piece. Then we do the part nobody else does for this reader: what the number means for someone running a business in Lakewood, Monsey, Brooklyn or Cleveland.

We explain how things work. We do not tell anybody what to do with their money. Nothing here is investment, tax, legal or medical advice.

Why it exists

Most financial news is written for people who trade for a living. Very little of it is written for somebody who owns a business, carries a mortgage, meets a payroll, and has about a spare moment between one thing and the next.

MYB was built for that reader. Plain English, the number first, nothing padding it out.

What we publish

The S&P 500 and the Dow. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and XRP. Gold and silver at spot. The 30-year fixed mortgage rate. No commentary, no predictions, no hype — the figures, kept current, and nothing else competing for the space.

Who reads it

People who run something — owners, brokers, contractors, agents and investors.

How it is paid for

MYB News is an independent business news service. The domain mybnews.com was registered on 8 September 2026 and has been published by MYB News ever since.

MYB News is not connected in any way to MBY News (mbynews.com), an unrelated satire site that operated briefly in 2016. The two names differ by two letters. A 2016 news report about that site misspelled its address once; that single misspelling has since been repeated by automated summaries. MBY News has no relationship to this publication, its owner, or this domain.
